Story

From broken to breakthrough.

The health professional who lost his health — and had to earn it back outside the system he helped build.

Perth · age 26

At twenty-six, I burned out inside the healthcare system I'd trained my whole life to serve. The man who could hold everyone couldn't ask for a hand. I'd made a virtue of needing nothing, and it cost me nearly everything: the health, the certainty, the version of success I'd been chasing since I was a boy on the low-income streets of Fremantle.

I knew something about fathers who run from themselves. Mine was on those same streets, homeless, when I found him as a teenager and said "hey Dad" while my friends watched. At thirteen I'd sat by his hospital bed in a coma and felt him squeeze my hand, the one sign to keep hoping. I carried all of that into a career, and then into a collapse.

Medical background

Sports physio first. Then the bigger question.

The work started on the sideline. Elite athletes, weekend warriors, post-op rehab, return-to-play. A masters in physiotherapy, hands on thousands of patients across more than a decade, the language of injury and recovery in my body before it was ever in a book.

What the sideline kept showing me: the same bodies, the same patterns, the same preventable breakdowns. Treating one knee at a time is honest work — and it is nowhere near enough. That gap is where the rest of this story begins.

"Good health and wellbeing is a human right, and I'm dedicating the next fifty years to seeing people experience it."

The masters, the dream job, the Olympic and AFL aspirations. Then the morning at twenty-six when none of it felt like mine. Two years of earning health back became the platform, the twelve medicines, and the work that followed.

Forty countries · seven years

What came next wasn't a quick turnaround. It was years. Forty countries. Cycles of darkness and slow, deliberate rebuilding. The question that finally broke it open was simple: what's my ideal day? I learned the thing I now spend my life saying out loud: you don't repair a depleted life by pushing harder. You redesign it. From the inside out.

That's where all of it comes from. The book. The twelve medicines. Perth to Bali, sickcare to selfcare, one patient at a time to a whole community. The reframe I'd give the younger me if I could sit beside him in that first collapse: you were never broken. You were under-nourished by an environment that was never built for you to thrive in.

I'm the cycle-breaker in my family. The addiction that ends with me. The line of men who ran from themselves that stops here. I don't stand on a mountaintop and point. I'm still on the path, walking it beside you.

You were never broken. You were under-nourished.

We believe

The credo.

  • 01

You have never needed to be fixed. Simply nourished, supported and connected.

  • 02

Inside-out. Master what is within, and the outer world begins to mirror back.

  • 03

Fill your own cup first. You cannot pour from empty. Serve from overflow.

  • 04

One person, just like you, can make a difference. It is the only thing that ever has.

  • 05

Anything is possible from here. If we can travel into outer space in a metal object, then yes — anything.

  • 06

Mentors show you where to look, never what to see. Trust your innate wisdom.

  • 07

ME. WE. ONE. Selfcare is not selfish. It is the first act of service.

  • 08

Together is better. We thrive as one, sharing and circulating life's abundance.

The CoCreator Doctrine

Creation. Co-creation. Collaboration.

Not a company. Not an audience. A village. A collective that is already whole, where one plus one equals eleven. We stopped building from survival and started building from coherence, and chose to do it together.

Creation · Inner

Build from coherence, not pressure.

Regulate first; clarity follows. Soul, then heart, then mind. The energy we build from ends up inside the thing we build. Do less, on purpose — subtraction isn't the small version of the work, it is the work.

Co-creation · Village

One plus one becomes eleven.

Real rooms, real presence, real peers. We hold the heights and the depths together. We lead by giving, then receiving, then matching energy — and no one breaks the cycle. The community is the intervention.

Collaboration · Field

A common vision, walked together.

Mycelium beneath the surface. Tensegrity holding the shape. A forest where each part ensures the longevity of the whole — and a seed becomes a forest that plants forests. We build so the person, the collective and the next generations all win together.

Mycelium

Invisible, decentralised connection feeding the whole network.

Tensegrity

Integrity through balanced tension; each part holds the whole.

The forest

A seed becomes a forest that plants forests.

The village

The unit of healing, raising and building. Rebuilt on purpose.

The lighthouse

Each of us lit — far brighter together.

Coherence before creation. Inside-out. Together.

Bali · today
The through-line

It started with coming home to myself. ME.

It became about the people I could help come home to themselves. WE.

And it's becoming about what we build together when enough of us do. ONE.
